Owner, April N Brown, established An April Affair in 2010. April is passionate about providing her clients with truly unique and creative events by listening to their ideas, creating personalized touches, and effortlessly managing all the intricate details. Her event management and communication skills paired with her approachable and calm demeanor has implanting lasting relationships among clients, venue managers and vendors.
As time moves closer to the event, many couples feel overwhelmed with many tasks and details of planning. “There is a great need to facilitate the desires of couples who are juggling career and family while planning their dream wedding, I simply want to make things easier to manage this aspect of their life.” As a Certified Wedding Professional, she offers Day-of-Coordinating to assist couples in making their vision a reality.
April’s professional background in event planning spans over 15 years. She holds a degree in Hospitality Management and Counseling. She is an ordained minister with a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling, expanding her services by crossing over the aisle to focus on marriages as a wedding officiant and premarital counseling coach.
On the horizon: She is currently creating Premarital Counseling Seminars.
